Tables Chairs & Other Unrelated Objects is the annual furniture exhibition of OCAD University, I was responsable for the curation, art direction and production of the show for a number of years and has won severalo awards during Toronto Design Week.
My role included: selection of the pieces, designing the space, fabricating the displays, tracking budget and raising funds from sponsors. In addition designing the catalogues, posters and graphic design.

This year the planning of the exhibiton presented several challenges because it was installed on the top floor of the historic Gladstone hotel.
There was one passenger sized elevator so I designed plinths for the furniture works that could be easily installed then taken apart without tools.
In addition, the floor was an active hotel after design week so I had to take into account spacial considerations such staff carts, guests with luggage etc. Overall it was a succesful design week event and exhibition.
